The My Senpai is Annoying romance is coming to an end

Ichijinsha Publishing House reported through its official media that the thirteenth volume of the manga written and illustrated by Shiromanta, "My Senpai is Annoying (Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi)", will be the last. Although this volume does not yet have a scheduled release date, it is understood that the manga's story is about to end, considering that the volumes are released several weeks after the chapters they contain are published.

Shiromanta began publishing the manga through Ichijinsha's Comic POOL service in July 2018. It later won first place at the Next Manga Awards 2018 in the "Web Manga" category, and to date has more than 1.5 million copies in circulation.

In addition, the work was adapted into anime by Doga Kobo Studios in a twelve-episode series released during the Fall-2021 season (October-December). While the story and animation style were quite appreciated, and there's no doubt that it had one of the most popular opening sequences of its season, to date there's no news about a sequel.

In one trading venture, saleswoman Futaba Igarashi has managed to keep her respectable job for nearly two years thanks to the guidance of her most senior co-worker, Harumi Takeda. However, due to Igarashi's short stature, Takeda often teases her and treats her like a child, leaving Igarashi constantly annoyed by her antics. Despite this, Igarashi realizes the reliability of Takeda, who is always willing to help when something goes wrong in his workplace. As Igarashi and Takeda spend more time together, their relationship goes beyond just office mates.
