Synopsis of Megami no Café Terrace

After the death of his grandmother Sachiko, Hayato Kasukabe returns from Tokyo and inherits his family coffee shop Café Terrace. His goal is to demolish the cafeteria and turn it into a parking lot, but he discovers that his grandmother had taken in five girls before she died. The girls—Ouka Makuzawa, Akane Hououji, Riho Tsukishima, Shiragiku Ono, and Ami Tsuruga—evidently shared a deep bond with Sachiko, and naturally refuse to leave the place they call home.

They convince Hayato to change his mind, albeit reluctantly. Through this encounter, Hayato ends up reminiscing about his past with his grandmother, as well as his love for coffee. Determined to carry on his grandmother's legacy, Hayato recruits the girls to act as "goddesses" to ensure the preservation of this precious abode.
