The adult novel In a World Filled with Zombies, I'm the Only One They Won't Attack will have anime

A press release announced that the light novels written by Rokuro Uraji and illustrated by Saburou, "In a World Filled with Zombies, I'm the Only One They Won't Attack (Zombie no Afureta Sekai de Ore dake ga Osowarenai)," will have an anime adaptation airing via AT-X in Japan. The latter is important because it is a story with adult material, especially violence and sexual content.

Rokuro Uraji began publishing the adult novels through the independent service Shousetsuka ni Narou in January 2013, and ended it in 2017. Frontier Works published the work in a total of three volumes with illustrations by Saburou between 2016 and 2017. Finally, a manga adaptation by Chihiro Masuda has been published since June 2021 through the Comic Ragchew service.

Synopsis of In a World Filled with Zombies, I'm the Only One They Won't Attack

Yuusuke is an office worker who doesn't like people and prefers to do his job alone and quietly. When the company he works for suddenly goes bankrupt, he loses his job, and with it, all his motivation disappears and he becomes a complete lock-in. One of the few days he decides to leave his apartment after a week of gaming games, a mysterious man attacks him and bites his arm. Although Yuusuke manages to escape to his room, he develops a fever and is bedridden for several days.

When Yuusuke wakes up, recovered, he goes to resume his normal life, but soon discovers that in the short time he was asleep the world has completely changed. Zombies have appeared simultaneously in every corner of the world, and the few human survivors are now in hiding. However... "Why am I the only one who isn't attacked by zombies?"
